Rocky leads the Pacific West Coast Corporate Restructuring practice for Ernst & Young's Transaction Advisory Services. He has over 16 years of corporate advisory experience with the last 11 years in restructuring advising debtors and secured and unsecured lenders across industries on financial, strategic and operational issues, which frequently involve complex, multi-party negotiations.
His restructuring experience includes debtor assignments, interim management positions, plan agent fiduciary and creditor representations; while, his industry experience includes consumer products, retail, forestry, technology, telecommunications, energy, including utilities, and manufacturing.
Before joining Ernst & Young, Rocky was a Senior Managing Director with FTI Consulting, where he advised troubled companies owned by private equity firms, hedge funds, financial and non-financial lenders, bondholders and law firms. Prior to FTI Consulting, he was a Managing Director in the Financial Advisory Services group at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Rocky received his Bachelor's in Business Economics (emphasis in Accounting) from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his Master's in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management ('93).
