Panelist - Robert Agostinelli
Co-founder, Rhône Group LLC

Prior to co-founding Rhône, Mr. Agostinelli was a Senior Managing Director in the banking group of Lazard Frères & Co. L.L.C., with responsibility for that firm's international banking business.  He has advised large multinational corporations and private families on an array of strategic and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, capital restructuring and investments.  Before joining Lazard, Mr. Agostinelli spent five years with Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he founded its international mergers and acquisitions business in London and was involved in a number of the largest transactions in European takeover history.  Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Agostinelli worked at Jacob Rothschild in London.

Mr. Agostinelli is a director of ISB Holdings S.r.l., Marco Polo Holdings S.r.l. and Rexair Holdings, Inc.  He is a member of the Group of Advisors of LWB Refractories. He is former Vice-Chairman of the Council of the United States and Italy; a member of the Investment Committee of Corporate World Opportunities of BSI/Generali Group; and a director and advisor to a number of European and U.S. philanthropic and civic institutions.  Mr. Agostinelli received a B.A. from St. John Fisher College, an MBA from Columbia Business School and is a Certified Public Accountant.
