The Private Equity Club of the Yale School of Management would like to thank you for your support of our Sixth Annual Private Equity Conference, which took place on December 1, 2006 at the Hilton Rye Town Hotel in Rye Brook, New York.

The focus of this year’s conference was Capitalizing on Change, highlighting the changes the private equity industry has experienced over the past year and providing conference attendees with the insights and contacts to help capitalize on this change. Conference attendees gathered to hear acclaimed panelists and four high-profile keynote speakers discuss the rapidly changing environment within the private equity industry.

Following Dean Joel Podolny's opening remarks, attendees were treated to a morning keynote address from Dan D'Aniello that provided a
historical look at the growth of private equity and touched upon some of the recent challenges within the space. Scott Schoen's lunchtime address focused on the resurgence in buyouts and the effect of recent private equity fundraising efforts on the broader M&A market as a whole. The conference finale featured a lively point/counterpoint discussion between Mike Goss, Bob Friedman and Dan Primack that covered a number of intriguing issues facing the private equity community.

Thank you again for joining us in Rye, and we look forward to seeing you again at next year's conference.
