Qin Zhang is a co-chair of the Yale SOM Private Equity Club. Prior to SOM, Ms. Zhang was a Business Development Manager at China Netcom, a leading telecommunications operator in China. In this capacity, she participated in China Netcom’s US$1 billion acquisition of a 20% stake in PCCW as well as in the fund-raising of CBC Capital, a US$300 million private equity fund focused on the telecom, media, and technology sectors. Qin also worked on equity research, consulting and auditing projects for over 40 multinational and Chinese companies in a diverse range of industries. Qin is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts. Qin received a Bachelor of Economics from Fudan University.
