Sally Rocker has been a Managing Director at J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC since December 2000. J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC focuses on making investments in the financial services industry through its private equity funds. Ms. Rocker has also been involved in the successful rebuilding and public offering of Shinsei Bank, Limited (formerly The Long Term Credit Bank of Japan) which was acquired in March 2000 by a group of investors led by J. Christopher Flowers and Ripplewood Holdings. Prior to joining J.C. Flowers in 2000, Ms. Rocker practiced law at O'Sullivan Graev & Karabell from 1996-2000 where she represented several major financial institutions in their private equity investments. From 1988 to 1996, she practiced law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in the mergers and acquisitions group. Ms. Rocker began her career in the business sector, working at Petro Lewis Corporation as an associate in the strategic planning department. Ms. Rocker received an MBA from Yale University in 1981 and a JD from Stanford University in 1987. She also holds a B.A. in Humanities from Brown University.
