Robert Hamwee joined GSC Partners at its inception in 1999. Mr. Hamwee currently manages the day-to-day activities of the Control Distressed Debt Group and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. He was with Greenwich Street Capital Partners from 1994 to 1999. Prior to that, Mr. Hamwee was with The Blackstone Group from 1992 to 1994, where he worked on a wide range of assignments in the Restructuring and Merchant Banking Departments. Mr. Hamwee is Chairman of the Board of APW Ltd. and ATSI Holdings, and is a director of International Wire Group, Inc., Precision Partners, Inc. and Viasystems Group, Inc. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan with a B.B.A. degree in Finance and Accounting.
