Douglas C. Freeman is a partner in O'Melveny & Myers' New York office and a member of the Transactions Department. Doug's practice focuses on representing public companies and private equity firms in connection with mergers, acquisitions, public offerings and other corporate transactions in a wide variety of industries.

Mr. Freeman represents a number of private equity funds in connection with buyouts, equity investments and other transactions in the U.S. and internationally in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, technology and telecommunications, entertainment, retail, mining, oil and gas, chemicals, health care and others. In addition, Mr. Freeman has represented numerous public and privately held companies and special committees in the U.S. and internationally in a variety of industries in connection with mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and other corporate matters. He has also represented a number of domestic and foreign issuers and selling shareholders in connection with public offerings of equity and debt securities and private placements, including Rule 144A transactions.
