Investors’ desire for liquidity in their private equity investments has
precipitated an active secondary market for partnership interests in
these funds. This panel will discuss the growing secondary market as
this new dynamic presents potential opportunities to those who until
recently were not able to invest in private equity because of liquidity
constraints. Many recent transactions demonstrate this new market
dynamic including, AIG’s $1.4BN purchase of interests in 150 funds from
