Michael Herling Founding Partner Finn Dixon & Herling |
Michael Herling is a founding partner in the law firm of Finn Dixon & Herling in Stamford, Connecticut. Founded in 1987, Finn Dixon & Herling is a premier, specialty law firm that provides exceptional corporate, transactional, securities and tax counsel to a wide range of business clients. Mr. Herling’s practice includes the fields of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities law. A principal focus of his practice is in the representation of venture capital and private equity funds and their portfolio companies in acquisitions and financings.
Mr. Herling is active in professional and local civic organizations, including being the Chairman of the Stamford Health System, former President of the Board of Trustees of the Darien Library, Chairman of the President's Club of Colgate University and a member of the Alumni Corporation Board of Directors of Colgate University. Mr. Herling received a BA from Colgate University in 1979 and a JD from Stanford Law School in 1982.
