David Mussafer Managing Partner Advent International www.adventinternational.com |
David Mussafer is one of Advent's managing partners responsible for the North American deal group and is a member of the firm's Executive Committee. He joined Advent in 1990 and has more than 15 years of buyout and private equity experience. Previously, he worked at Chemical Bank and Adler & Shaykin in New York.
David has been involved in more than 25 buyout deals at Advent and personally led more than a dozen buyout and growth equity investments across a range of industries. His specific investment experience has focused on business and financial services, healthcare services and specialty retail transactions. Selected investments include Contact East Inc., Datek Online Holdings Corp., The Island ECN Inc., Dollar Express Inc., Forster Holdings Inc., Kirkland's Inc., Managed Healthcare Associates Inc., Shoes For Crews Inc., Stone Products Corp. and T-Chem Holdings Inc.
David holds a BSM, cum laude, from Tulane University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
