           About the Private Equity Club

The Yale School of Management Private Equity Club provides a forum for Yale students with an interest in private equity to learn about the industry and to network. The Club's mission is to provide students with exposure to all private equity disciplines and to promote the school throughout the industry.

The Club's flagship event is the annual Private Equity Conference in Greenwich, CT. In 2003, the event attracted nearly 350 industry professionals, graduate students, and University alumni. In addition, the Club frequently invites distinguished private equity professionals to participate in the Private Equity Club Speaker Series. In 2004, the Club hosted Ted Forstmann, Senior Founding Partner of Forstmann Little & Co, and Charles Tate, Co-Founder and former Partner of Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst.
